Celebrating One of Our Own
What better way to celebrate Mother’s Day this year than to honor one of our very own Cody team members. We captured a day-in-the-life of Cody’s Office Manager and mother of two, Jill Richard, who showed us that her longest, hardest, most rewarding workout is motherhood. We asked her two children, Frankie and Liam, to write a letter to Jill, in their words, telling us about what their mom really means to them.
A Letter to Mom
You are my queen.
You care for me and direct me on the right path.
You teach the boxers and do cool moves.
You’re special because you’re weird… oh and…nice.
I love you one million eighteen hundred-thousand percent.
You give me lots of hugs and kisses and make me laugh.
You’re funny and a lot different than other moms and you’re silly sometimes.
I love you because you are crazy and fun.
You go to work and work on a computer.
You are strong and you train hard
You are strong because you workout and you’ve got muscles.
OH and you play tag with me.
You listen to me and lead me.
You have your own weird opinion, but sometimes you opinion is right.
You protect me and help me with my problems.
I would never want any other mom than you, because you are different and my sweet and caring mom.
You make us dinner and make us happy.
You snuggle with me.
You give us dream kisses; you kiss us on the forehead and tell us what to dream about.
I love you because you are my mom and you have been my mom my whole life.
Frankie + Liam
There are a million and one reasons a mom can light up someone’s world. So, whatever shape motherhood takes for you, the Cody team celebrates you every day.
