Yesterday we had our first free broadcast class, Strong & Fluid Vinyasa with Patrick Beach, and it was a wonderful success! Your participation was key to making this shared experience a resounding success, and we are looking forward to all of the broadcast classes that are yet to come.
Some quick numbers:
- Nearly 1700 people RSVP’d and 1000 of you tuned in to participate
- 84% of you were still with us one hour into the class – great job sticking with it!
- We had people from all over the globe, 59 different countries in fact
- Over 100 of you had fun with the chat feature, and stayed for our Q & A session with Patrick after the class
Did you love Patrick’s teaching style? There’s more where that came from! You can browse all of Patrick’s yoga plans here.
We also appreciate your feedback! So far we have heard that people in different time zones would like broadcasts to occur at a time that works for them. Any other thoughts and suggestions? Shoot us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. We are working hard to make this the best experience possible, so your voice matters!
Sad you missed the broadcast?
New to broadcasts and wondering what all this hubbub is about?
A broadcast is a free video that streams on our website at an established time. Think of it like regular TV: Tune in when the broadcast is set to air to enjoy the video and chat with other viewers & practitioners.
But why attend a free broadcast, when you already have yoga videos on-demand through Cody or even YouTube? We are trying to capture that special shared experience of viewing something together.
The Cody community is spread all over the world, and collectively works out thousands of times a month. We wanted to create a unique experience where anyone, anywhere could tune in and be part of a global class: no matter who you are or where you live, we will all share this fitness experience together!
Each broadcast will be streamed on our website here, and we encourage you to RSVP ahead of time. For some extra fun, tune in a little early & stay a bit after the broadcast class ends: There will be a chat box for you, your classmates, and your coach to talk about the class, ask questions, and give feedback in real time!
