About Rise: Strength Starter
This series’ effectiveness is rooted in its programming. It pairs partial lifts with explosive movements to first build awareness and control before challenging you to add speed and explosiveness. This format coupled with classical functional movements like box jumps, pull-ups, and lunges will produce steady, strong and noticeable results.
About Diane Fu:
Diane Fu is a rising star coach in the world of strength & conditioning and CrossFit. As an Olympic-style weightlifting specialist and in a field that’s been dominated by men, Diane has been on a mission to introduce the sport of Olympic-style Weightlifting to athletes of ages, levels, and abilities. Diane currently works as a Strength & Conditioning Coach at San Francisco CrosSFit and is also the founder of FuBarbell.
About Andrea Ager:
Prior to discovering CrossFit, Andrea ran track for Mesa State University in Colorado while earning an Exercise Science degree. She moved to California in 2011, the state where CrossFit was born, where she defined herself as a vital team competitor and an aggressive individual competitor amongst the best in the world.
